Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScheduleSorter. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
ScheduleSorter is operated by [LEGAL NAME] ([COMPANY NUMBER, if applicable]), registered at [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "ScheduleSorter" refer to that entity.
The service
ScheduleSorter provides constraint-based scheduling, enrollment, and timetabling tools. We may update, improve, or change features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you're creating an account on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Accounts & responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You must have the right to upload any attendee data you add, and to contact those attendees.
- You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to store or process personal data you don't have a lawful basis or permission to handle;
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or authentication controls, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our prior written consent;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service outside of any API we provide;
- Use the public enrollment links to collect data for unrelated purposes, or send unsolicited communications to attendees;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except where permitted by law;
- Resell or provide the service to third parties as your own hosted product without our written agreement.
Intellectual property
ScheduleSorter and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your own scheduling purposes. You retain ownership of the data you put into ScheduleSorter (see "Your data" below); this licence doesn't give you any rights in our underlying software or brand.
Third-party software integrations
ScheduleSorter may integrate with third-party apps and platforms to provide expanded functionality. If you access any third-party content, products, or services through the service, you should be aware of the separate privacy policies and terms of use for those third parties, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans (Essentials, Pro, Business) are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are shown on our pricing page.
- Our order process and payments are conducted by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and refunds, and appears on your card or bank statement. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Plan limits (projects, attendees, events) apply as described on our pricing page.
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase. See our Refund Policy for details; outside that window, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you put into ScheduleSorter. You can export it as JSON or delete your organisation at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your organisation at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk, and will give notice where reasonably practicable.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your data, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScheduleSorter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
Compliance with laws and sanctions
You're responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with the laws applicable to you and your attendees, including data protection and export control laws. You confirm you're not located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country subject to comprehensive UK, EU, or US trade sanctions, and are not on any applicable restricted-party list.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure: We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
